Сегодня наш ВМФ безупречно, судя по результатам, освободил ненадолго захваченный в Сомали танкер. На сайте британской газеты The Times, обладающим британской же, с большим преимуществом, аудиторией, опубликована статья об этих событиях.

 Тут стоит пояснить, что сама Великобритания ведёт, быть может, оправданную в плане рисков для людей, но, похоже, непопулярную осторожную политику по решению проблем с захватами судов со своими гражданами, предпочитая лишний раз заплатить выкуп. Обратная сторона в том, что по данным всё той же статьи пираты сейчас удерживают более трёхсот человек, которые ещё не были выкуплены.

 И вот на таком фоне британцы читают, как Россия уверенно решила первую же проблему захвата судна с полностью российским экипажем.

 Таких положительных, а, порой, восторженных комментов о русских, России, российских военных и т. п., как в обсуждении этой статьи, я просто ни когда ещё не читал! Не говорю уже о самокритике, основанной на сравнении с, подумать только, российским государством!

 Хочу выложить некоторые комменты с сайта The Times хотя бы потому, что слышать такое просто чертовски приятно! Чего стоит, хотя бы, когда простые англичане называет нас своими «neighbours», да ещё и теми, на которых можно положиться.

 Но вначале хочу особенно обратить внимание на два комментария одной британки.

 Первый очень лестен для меня в силу того, что приписываемое в нём России, я находил среди достойнейших черт государства Американского, как и великих государств прошлого:

 Так вот, моё мнение... Опять таки, именно помимо того, что человек из Европы представил картину России ровно, как нам хочется быть представленными, я вижу, что отмечено отражение произошедшего в нашей прессе. И действительно! В то время, как британцы обсуждают потрясающую операцию, сами говорят о российской отваге и героизме, всячески хвалят Россию, российская пресса на счёт всего этого очень «modest», ни какой пропаганды нашей суперпуперсти, а вместо того обсуждаются проблемы пиратства и суда над пиратами.

 Британка говорила это о государстве, защищающем своих граждан, а я скажу про сегодняшнюю реакцию российской прессы: isn't that how it should be?

 И теперь обещанная небольшая подборка греющих душу комментариев британцев :)
